Vocational Training
At International Village Development / Brooklyn Housing Development, we believe in empowering our community members through vocational training. That's why we are excited to provide new workforce development programs in partnership with the local community college and trade schools. These courses will equip residents with skills to secure good-paying, stable jobs in fields like healthcare, construction, technology and more.
Our vocational training initiative launches this summer with courses on building maintenance, automotive repair, welding, medical billing and coding. Participants will receive hands-on training, career coaching and job placement assistance after completion. By removing barriers like transportation and childcare, we hope to make these programs accessible to all, regardless of income or background. Our goal is to see graduates embark on meaningful careers that provide family-sustaining wages.
Helping Those Who Need It Most
We invite all interested residents to apply for our vocational training courses. Let's work together to build a stronger, more prosperous Brooklyn. With the right skills and opportunities, our community members can achieve their full potential. Please contact us to learn more about enrollment and scholarships. Investing in vocational education means investing in the future of our neighborhoods.
